Zhang Xin graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Department of Microelectronics at Fudan University and earned a Master of Law degree from Renmin University of China. He joined Shanghai Patent & Trademark Law Firm in 2005 and is currently a full-time lawyer at Shanghai Yiping Law Firm (the legal team of SPTL), with seven years of legal practice experience.
He is highly experienced in patent enforcement, having represented clients in patent infringement cases with cumulative claims exceeding RMB 100 million. He has also handled numerous successful cases in patent invalidation, administrative protection of patents, anti-unfair competition, and e-commerce platform complaints.
Additionally, with twenty years of experience in patent prosecution, he has long provided comprehensive patent services to leading domestic and international companies in fields such as medical devices, semiconductors, and automotive components. His work includes patent risk assessments, overseas patent portfolio strategies, patent drafting, and responses to office actions, having managed over 2,000 cases. He also serves as a long-term intellectual property advisor for several foreign-funded manufacturing enterprises.
