Gao Rui holds dual master's degrees in Engineering and Law, and is a Senior Intellectual Property Engineer. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Patent Support Center of China Mobile, she is responsible for patent operations and risk management. She also holds roles as a People's Assessor at the Beijing Intellectual Property Court and a People's Mediator at the China Patent Protection Association.

Recognized as an expert at the National Center for Intellectual Property Rights Dispute Resolution Abroad, a National Patent Information Instructor, and a member of the Beijing Intellectual Property Expert Pool, she has led multiple domestic and international patent infringement lawsuits. Notably, in the patent infringement case of Watchdata v. Hengbao, the first-instance ruling awarded compensation of RMB 50 million.
