Attorney Zhang Wanze is a Partner and Director of China Practice at Michalski Hüttermann & Partner. Between 2002 and 2010, she passed both German State Judicial Examinations, earned an LL.M. in Law and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Cologne, and obtained her qualification to practice as a German attorney.  

After joining dompatent in 2014, she has been dedicated to fostering Sino-German cooperation in intellectual property. She provides long-term legal advisory services to Chinese enterprises entering the European market, assisting them with freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches and due diligence in preparation for listings, and representing clients in multiple patent litigation and patent invalidation proceedings to safeguard the IP rights of Chinese companies in Europe.  

Additionally, Attorney Zhang Wanze has extensive experience in handling trademark and design matters, opposition/invalidation procedures, trademark and design infringement cases, as well as issues related to copyright law, unfair competition law, and domain name law.
